The position involves designing and implementing optical networking systems for AI and Hollow Core Fiber (HCF), leading technology innovation, and creating automated control and management platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in optical network design, development, and automation, with a strong background in fiber optical system design and testing. They will work with cutting-edge technologies including coherent, direct-detection, and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) systems.

This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment, allowing up to 50% work from home, with competitive compensation ranging from $117,200 to $229,200 per year (higher in SF and NYC areas). The position involves collaborating with key stakeholders, leading design initiatives, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of AI-optimized optical networks.

Key responsibilities include optical network design for innovative systems, testing and validation, code implementation, project leadership, and operational incident management. The role requires a minimum of 7 years of technical experience or equivalent education in relevant fields.
