Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is seeking a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join their innovative team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining Microsoft's extensive cloud infrastructure that powers over 200 online businesses including Azure, Office 365, Xbox Live, and Teams.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $117,200 - $229,200 and requires significant expertise in analog and mixed-signal design. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and deep knowledge of transistor-level design, with proficiency in industry-standard tools like Cadence Virtuoso.

As a Senior Analog Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and integrating crucial analog building blocks into larger systems, including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and DC-DC converters. You'll work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with international teams to drive innovation in Microsoft's cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities For Senior Analog Design Engineer

  • Design and integrate analog building blocks into bigger systems (ADC, DAC, LDO, PLL, Temperature Sensors, DC-DC converters)
  • Use industry EDA tools for schematic capture and simulation
  • Design, model, and simulate Power Delivery Solutions
  • Support Mixed Signal Design Engineer with top level simulations
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers to develop test plans
  • Participate in design reviews and create documentation
  • Supervise IC layouts
  • Support Root Cause and Failure Analysis investigations
  • Work with multi-disciplinary and international project team members

Requirements For Senior Analog Design Engineer

  • 7+ years of related technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years experience OR Doctorate degree
  • 4+ years experience in transistor-level mixed-signal design
  • 4+ years experience with Cadence Virtuoso for schematic capture and simulation
  • Experience with Foundry Silicon and packaging technologies
  • Proficient with mixed-signal design flows and tools
  • Experience with Power Delivery or Power Management Circuits
