Description For Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Microsoft's Azure Edge team is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their innovative infrastructure team. This role is central to designing and building state-of-the-art services that ensure route security and reliability for one of the world's largest networks. The Azure Edge team manages a vast network infrastructure connecting over 200 Edge sites and 60+ Azure regions globally, with the ambitious goal of reaching every person within 25ms latency.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud networking technology, with responsibilities ranging from network design and automation to live site troubleshooting. You'll be part of a team that's constantly innovating to build the world's most reliable, performant, and secure network infrastructure.

  • Design and build state-of-the-art services for network security and reliability

Requirements For Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Kubernetes
  • 7+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
  • Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Experience with network design and live site accountability
  • Knowledge of data analysis and troubleshooting
