Senior Critical Environment (CE) Platform Engineer

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Senior Critical Environment (CE) Platform Engineer to join their team responsible for operating critical infrastructure across global datacenters. This role involves managing core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's major online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Azure. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a massive infrastructure comprising over 100 datacenters and 1 million servers, serving more than 1 billion customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will focus on automation, data-driven engineering, and environmental sustainability while supporting hybrid CI/CD DevOps infrastructure. You'll work with both Windows and Linux environments, handling everything from automated system installations to security compliance and optimization. This role offers up to 100% remote work flexibility with some travel (0-25%).
