Senior Fiber Delivery Engineer

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is seeking a Senior Fiber Delivery Engineer to join their Cloud Interconnection + Acquisitions (CI+A) Team. This role is crucial in building world-class network infrastructure, working with Metro Dark Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, subsea, and Lit Wave circuits. The position offers flexible work arrangements with up to 100% work from home options.

As part of CO+I, you'll be instrumental in delivering core infrastructure for Microsoft's major services including Azure, Office 365, Xbox, and Bing. The role involves managing complex fiber delivery projects, working with external suppliers, and developing strategic solutions for network capacity delivery. The infrastructure spans over 200 datacenters in 32 countries, serving more than 1 billion customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering and project management, with specific expertise in Dark Fiber Outside Plant Projects, AutoCAD, and GIS solutions.
