Description For Senior Product Manager

Microsoft Digital (MSD) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their team focused on transforming the employee experience across Microsoft's global workforce. This role sits within the Employee Experience (HR) division, where you'll be responsible for delivering world-class products that foster Microsoft's culture through consumer-grade human resources experiences.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $117,200 - $229,200 USD (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC: $153,600 - $250,200), along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. Working in a hybrid environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility, you'll be part of the team that innovates and delivers Microsoft's vision for employee experience, human resources, and corporate solutions.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll create and execute product strategies, align stakeholders around feature visions, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver quantifiable outcomes. The role requires strong experience in product management or software development, with preferred experience in HCM SaaS solutions and HR technologies. You'll be responsible for driving complex, cross-functional programs from initiation to completion while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accessibility standards.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of relevant experience, deep domain expertise in HR, and a strong understanding of software development lifecycles. Responsibilities For Senior Product Manager

  • Influence and engage with cross-functional partners to gather input for product vision and strategy
  • Drive business impact and track success criteria and performance metrics
  • Work with Software Engineering to identify needed data and ensure telemetry development
  • Determine features prioritization in the roadmap
  • Collaborate with partner teams to build configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs
  • Prioritize backlog and work with Engineering team on tradeoffs
  • Engage in testing to ensure customer needs are met
  • Evangelize features with stakeholders and partners
  • Leverage customer listening systems and telemetry to develop insights

Requirements For Senior Product Manager

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years
  • Experience in HCM SaaS solutions such as SuccessFactors, Workday is a plus
  • Experience in managing benefits, time and payroll solutions
  • Deep domain expertise in HR & experience in writing detailed product requirements
  • Understanding of engineering software development life cycle
  • Experience in program management principles
