Description For Senior Product Manager - Copilot Measurement & Evaluation

Microsoft AI is at the forefront of AI innovation, focusing on the development of Copilot and other consumer AI products. We're seeking a data-driven Senior Product Manager to join our Copilot Measurement & Evaluation team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role combines technical expertise with product management skills to drive the evolution of our AI capabilities.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, data science, and product development. You'll be responsible for measuring and evaluating Copilot's performance, from model effectiveness to user behavior analysis. Working with a collaborative team of data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, and designers, you'll help shape the future of AI-driven consumer experiences.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a strong technical background particularly in data analytics and machine learning. You'll be part of Microsoft's newly formed AI organization (MAI), working on products that define the AI era. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $153,600 to $250,200 for the San Francisco Bay Area, along with comprehensive benefits.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office, allowing you to collaborate closely with world-class teams while maintaining flexibility.   • Define the Product Roadmap for the Copilot Data Science team
  • Extract data insights from billions of data points to uncover issues and opportunities
  • Influence NorthStar metrics and measure the success of Copilot
  • Share Data Science and Product Analytics Insights in Weekly Product Reviews
  • Orient the overall Copilot product strategy
  • Work with AI teams to transform learnings into direct model improvements

Requirements For Senior Product Manager - Copilot Measurement & Evaluation

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product management OR equivalent experience
  • Experience building product roadmaps for user facing products
  • Technical expertise with experience in quantitative or technical roles
  • Experience with data analytics and experimentation tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL and coding skills (Python, JavaScript)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building consumer products leveraging Machine Learning or Large Language Models
