Description For Senior Product Manager - Copilot Measurement & Evaluation

Microsoft AI is at the forefront of AI innovation, focusing on the development of Copilot and other consumer AI products. We're seeking a data-driven Senior Product Manager to join our Copilot Measurement & Evaluation team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role combines technical expertise with product management skills to drive the evolution of our AI capabilities.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $153,600 - $250,200 for the Bay Area location, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. You'll be working in a hybrid environment, requiring 3 days in the office per week.

As a Senior PM, you'll be responsible for building the product roadmap for the Copilot Data Science team, extracting insights from billions of data points, and influencing key metrics. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of product management experience, strong technical skills including Python, JavaScript, and SQL, and experience with AI and consumer products.

You'll be joining a newly formed organization that combines world-class AI research with top-notch design and product craft. The team is responsible for Copilot, Bing, Edge, and generative AI research, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of AI technology.

  • Define the Product Roadmap for the Copilot Data Science team

  • Influence NorthStar metrics and measure the success of Copilot
  • Share Data Science and Product Analytics Insights in Weekly Product Reviews
  • Orient the overall Copilot product strategy
  • Work with AI teams to transform learnings into direct model improvements

Requirements For Senior Product Manager - Copilot Measurement & Evaluation

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product management OR equivalent experience
  • Experience building product roadmaps for user facing products
  • Technical expertise with experience in quantitative or technical roles
  • Experience leading product teams building consumer products in AI
  • Experience with data analytics and experimentation tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL and coding skills (Python, JavaScript)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
