Senior Security Engineer

Microsoft's Azure Hardware and Firmware DevSec team is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their security organization. This role focuses on enhancing platform security through comprehensive security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis of hardware and firmware components. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and shape the security landscape of Azure's hardware platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a hacker mindset and deep expertise in hardware, firmware, and low-level components security. You'll be responsible for conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and providing guidance on secure development practices. Working closely with Microsoft's Hardware Engineering teams and ecosystem partners, you'll help establish security solutions and requirements from early stages of product development.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from CAD $108,100 to CAD $199,700 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. The position allows for up to 100% remote work with minimal travel requirements (0-25%).
