Senior Security Engineer

Microsoft Security is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Azure Hardware and Firmware DevSec team. This role is critical in shaping the landscape of platform security within Microsoft's cloud infrastructure. The position offers up to 100% remote work with 0-25% travel requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a hacker mindset and passion for enhancing the security of hardware, firmware, and low-level components. You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive security reviews, including threat modeling, design assessments, and penetration testing of both Microsoft and third-party HW/FW solutions.

Working within the Azure Security organization, you'll collaborate with Security Engineers to protect Microsoft's vast cloud infrastructure. The role involves deep technical work with various low-level components, including motherboard peripherals, network communication, disk controllers, and hypervisors.
