Description For Senior Security Engineer

Microsoft's RedTeam (MRT) organization is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Gaming and AI team. This role focuses on identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities that impact hundreds of millions of users across Microsoft's gaming studios and AI infrastructure, including the CoPilot product suite. The position involves emulating real-world advanced persistent threats, working with over 30 gaming studios, and contributing to Microsoft's mission of making the world safer through comprehensive security solutions. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on security work, requiring collaboration with developers and security personnel across Microsoft. Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer

  • Discover and exploit vulnerabilities end-to-end in order to assess the security of services
  • Execute and lead Red Team operations using real world adversarial tactics and techniques
  • Advocate for security change across the company through building partnerships
  • Analyze data sources to identify potential security weaknesses and breach points
  • Prototype tools and techniques to scale and accelerate offensive emulation
  • Collaborate with Blue Teams to improve readiness and produce solutions
  • Analyze simulated adversary tactics and communications

Requirements For Senior Security Engineer

  • 5+ years of experience in Security vulnerabilities, Cyber Security, Full Stack Development, Systems Administration or related security discipline
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
