Senior Security Software Engineer - CTJ - Poly

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Security Software Engineer to join their prestigious Red Team, where you'll play a crucial role in emulating real-world attacks against Microsoft's systems. The role is based in Redmond, WA, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing up to 50% work from home. As part of Microsoft's Security organization, you'll be working alongside experienced Red Teamers to identify and exploit vulnerabilities across multiple layers including application, cloud, network, and operational security domains.

Your responsibilities will include discovering and exploiting vulnerabilities, executing Red Team operations, developing attack emulation tools, and collaborating with Blue Teams to enhance Microsoft's security posture. You'll be expected to analyze various data sources to identify potential security weaknesses and conduct targeted attacks that simulate real-world threats.

The position requires at least 5 years of experience in security vulnerability identification, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity. You'll need an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access and must be a U.S. citizen. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $117,200 to $229,200 per year, with additional benefits including comprehensive healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave.
