Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is seeking a Senior Silicon Engineer to join their Data Processing Unit (DPU) team within Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure group. This role offers an opportunity to work on delivering silicon solutions with planet-scale impact. As a Senior Silicon Engineer, you'll be part of the front-end silicon team, responsible for delivering cutting-edge, high performance, low power, scalable and programmable DPU silicon.
The position involves validating silicon to solve complex datacenter problems and interacting with the architecture team to develop programmable silicon implementations. This highly visible and impactful role provides exposure to various domains required for DPU silicon development, offering both breadth and depth in solving complex engineering problems.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Design Verification with expertise in SystemVerilog/UVM based testbench environments. You'll be working in a hybrid environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility and minimal travel requirements (0-25%).
