Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Windows Cloud division, specifically working on Windows 365 Cloud PC (W365) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) services. These services have been recognized as leaders in the Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Desktop as a Service (DaaS) for two consecutive years.

The role involves developing and maintaining critical infrastructure that powers Microsoft's cloud-based Windows experience for enterprise customers. As a Senior SRE, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions that reduce operational burden, particularly in areas such as system capability onboarding and maintenance across data centers. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and be part of a team that's scaling these services to meet growing enterprise demands.

Key responsibilities include developing automation scripts and tools, monitoring service health, analyzing telemetry data for capacity planning, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure service reliability. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product management teams to translate requirements into architectural designs and feature releases.
