Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Microsoft's COSMIC team is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their innovative team that designs, builds, and operates a global scale managed-runtime environment based on Azure Kubernetes Service. The role is part of Microsoft Substrate service, where COSMIC functions as a 'Kubernetes PaaS'. The team is responsible for building and maintaining solutions that enable substrate service teams to focus on their core business requirements rather than infrastructure components.

As a Senior SRE, you'll work on building new solutions, adopting new technologies, adding features, and improving quality and resilience for various scenarios. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, particularly Azure resources, for faster iterations. Experience with Kubernetes and Linux is considered a plus.

The role combines software engineering excellence with operations expertise, requiring 6+ years of technical experience or equivalent education and experience combination.
