Description For Senior Software Engineer

Join Microsoft's Azure Developer Division team at Microsoft India Development Center (IDC) to build and ship new Azure services from the ground up. This senior role offers a unique opportunity to work on pre-V1 offerings in a new team, focusing on making Azure the best cloud for all developers. You'll collaborate with strategic ISV partners to deliver services that expand access to open source and 3rd party technologies in Azure.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer

  • Design and build Azure service components including prototyping and development
  • Lead planning, design, and implementation of significant sub-systems
  • Build for security, privacy, scalability, reliability, and compliance
  • Mentor junior engineers on long-term design and best practices
  • Support customers in a live site, DevOps model
  • Author Azure portal extensions
  • Handle live site issues and drive security compliance

Requirements For Senior Software Engineer
