Senior Software Engineer

Microsoft's Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Engineering team (CO+IE). This role is crucial in developing and managing services, applications, and automation supporting datacenter planning, construction, and operation. The position offers significant impact, working on software solutions that enable cost-effective execution of data center operations for Microsoft's cloud services, including Azure.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for end-to-end deliverables with high visibility in an Agile environment. The role involves envisioning, designing, coding, validating, and deploying new features from the ground up. Being part of a foundational layer of Microsoft means your work will have broad impact across the entire company.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $117,200 to $229,200 per year (higher in SF and NYC areas), along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. The role supports up to 100% remote work, though candidates must reside within 50 miles of one of the hub locations (Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, or Phoenix, AZ).
