Microsoft's Accessibility Insights team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help developers create more accessible products. You'll work on their Web product (a browser extension using TypeScript, React, and FluentUI) and Windows product (WPF application in C#), implementing tools that leverage AI to identify and fix accessibility issues early in development. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer
- Work with product managers and engineers to create implementation plans given product and feature requirements
- Share learnings and identified solutions from investigations with the team
- Independently create clear and articulated plans for testing and assuring quality solutions
- Lead by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable code
- Apply debugging tools and examine logs, telemetry, and other data to verify assumptions
- Drive efforts to ensure the correct processes are followed to achieve a high degree of security, privacy, safety, and accessibility
- Remain current in skills by staying abreast of current developments
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
- Experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years
