Senior Software Engineering Manager

Microsoft Edge Web Experiences team is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead their Hybrid Web Applications platform development. This role is part of the team building the cross-platform web application story and developer tools for Microsoft Edge, which serves hundreds of millions of users. The position focuses on enabling developers to leverage both web and native technologies across Windows platforms.

The role involves leading a team working on crucial technologies like Progressive Web Apps, WebView, Edge DevTools, WebDriver, and Webhint. You'll collaborate closely with various Microsoft teams including VS Code, Teams, Outlook, TypeScript, and others, while also engaging with the Chromium OSS project and the broader web development community.

As a leader, you'll need to demonstrate strong customer empathy, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for innovation while maintaining focused execution. The position requires balancing technical leadership with people management, overseeing a team of seven or more individuals, and driving technical decisions in a complex product area.
