Responsibilities For Senior Technical Support Engineer - Azure Local (Stack HCI)

  • Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues
  • Act as an advisor to customers
  • Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Share knowledge through readiness programs and technical coaching
  • Mentor others and provide technical coaching
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams
  • Investigate potential product defects
  • Develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools

Requirements For Senior Technical Support Engineer - Azure Local (Stack HCI)

  • 5+ years technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT with 3+ years experience
  • Experience with Azure Stack HCI and Windows Admin Center
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V management and VM deployment
  • Experience with clustering and Resilient Storage technology
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with network tracing and analysis
  • Knowledge of DNS deployment and management
  • Expertise with troubleshooting tools (procmon, netmon, perfmon)
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Australian citizenship required
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
