Responsibilities For Senior Technical Support Engineer (Windows Directory Services)

  • Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues
  • Act as an advisor to customers
  • Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Share knowledge through readiness programs and technical coaching
  • Mentor others and provide technical coaching
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams
  • Help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools

Requirements For Senior Technical Support Engineer (Windows Directory Services)

  • 5+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or IT experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 3+ years experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems platforms, DNS Zones and records
  • Experience with Active Directory, domain management, and disaster recovery
  • Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Experience with Kerberos and NTLM authentication
  • Knowledge of LDAP, Sites, Subnets, KCC, Replication
  • Working knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI infrastructure
  • Experience with SSL-TLS
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Flexibility for shift-based work
