Site Reliability Engineer II

Microsoft Security is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II focused on identity and Entra ID tenant administration. This role is part of the Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, responsible for delivering customer solutions across authentication, access management, and user protection.

The position requires expertise in managing Entra ID (AzureAD) and implementing security solutions at scale. You'll be working in Microsoft's Security organization, which aims to make the world safer through end-to-end, simplified security solutions. The role combines site reliability engineering with identity and access management expertise.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Managing and automating identity-centric digital transformation
• Designing distributed systems and cloud technology solutions
• Implementing security policies and standards
• Developing automation for identity and access management tasks
• Participating in on-call rotations and incident response

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of technical experience in software engineering or systems administration, with strong expertise in Entra ID management. Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) and experience with large-scale service data management is preferred.
