Description For Software Engineer

Join Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience Platform (CXP) team as a Software Engineer and be part of transforming Microsoft Cloud customers into fans. This role focuses on improving Cloud quality, security, and reliability through deep engineering engagements with customers. As part of the Azure Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you'll work on improving reliability fundamentals via software engineering operational improvements and platform enhancements.

The position offers a flexible work-from-home arrangement with occasional in-office meetings in Redmond, Washington. You'll be joining a customer-obsessed, AI-curious team that values diversity, inclusion, and a growth mindset. The role involves collaborating with teams across Microsoft to analyze and amplify customer needs while driving the vision for Cloud quality.

Your responsibilities will include implementing code for products and services, managing live operations, contributing to automation, and maintaining strong partnerships across the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of technical engineering experience with various programming languages and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $98,300 - $193,200 (higher in SF and NYC areas), along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave.
