Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Cloud+AI Azure Data Team, working on transformative analytics products including Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Databases, Azure Cosmos Databases, and more. This role focuses on deploying and operating Azure Data services in a Secure Work Area, including infrastructure for collaboration within airgapped environments.

The position requires an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access and involves working with highly secured and regulated industries. You'll be part of a team enabling Azure services for both internal and external customers while meeting strict security policy and assurance requirements.

The role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale distributed systems that serve billions of users daily. You'll be responsible for service reliability, data analysis, automation development, and ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards. The position includes on-call responsibilities and requires strong problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities include monitoring service health, contributing to data analytics efforts, developing automation tools, and maintaining live service operations.
