Software Engineer II

Microsoft Whiteboard is an innovative digital canvas for creative teamwork, part of the Visual Collab organization building AI-powered services and experiences. The role involves working on a modern codebase built with React, Fluid Framework, Azure, and OneDrive services, creating collaborative experiences for Surface Hub, Teams, desktop, mobile, and web platforms. The team works closely with Teams, Surface, OneDrive/SharePoint, and Fluid Framework teams to deliver high-quality collaborative inking experiences and accessible meetings. With Teams serving 4B+ meeting minutes daily, this position offers the opportunity to work on high-scale, low-latency collaborative applications. The role requires expertise in web and mobile development, focusing on building scalable features for digital whiteboarding. You'll be involved in the complete product lifecycle, from design to development, working with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement and customer-focused innovation.
