Azure is Microsoft's fastest-growing business and the foundation of its Cloud Services, expanding into Government and Sovereign space. As an Azure Sovereign Cloud Customer Engineer, you'll be the primary escalation support and engineering contact for Sovereign Cloud partners. You'll drive resolution of complex critical problems, support key projects, and act as the voice of sovereign cloud within Azure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing deep understanding of partners' key solutions and priorities
- Executing strategic projects and driving Azure issues to resolution
- Leading critical problem resolution and providing timely communication
- Managing escalated partner support cases
- Overseeing root cause analyses (RCA) to prevent future issues
- Engaging with engineering teams to advocate for partners and drive product improvements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Preferred qualifications:
- IT experience supporting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications
- Strong communication and prioritization skills
- Passion for partners and customer experience
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies
- Experience in automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source)
