Microsoft's Customer Service & Support (CSS) organization is seeking a Support Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity to join their Security, Compliance, Identity and Management (SCIM) team. This role is part of the larger Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, which employs over 17,000 people worldwide. The position offers up to 100% remote work flexibility and focuses on delivering exceptional technical support for Microsoft's security solutions.

The role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex security-related technical issues for enterprise customers, with a particular emphasis on cloud security, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel. You'll be working with large-scale enterprise environments supporting 1000+ users, requiring expertise in network security, systems administration, and cloud technologies.

As a Support Engineer, you'll collaborate across teams, participate in technical communities, and contribute to product improvement through feedback and defect identification. The position requires strong technical skills, including experience with Linux and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python, as well as a deep understanding of security concepts and enterprise cloud environments.

  • Experience in Network Security Engineering or consulting, and/or Systems Administration
  • Customer facing experience
  • Enterprise cloud experience with major cloud providers
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments with 1000+ users
  • Experience with Linux
  • Scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell or Python)
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
