Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO&I, the Datacenter Engineering (DCE) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services.
This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to (50)%.
The Datacenter Engineering Technical Governance Electrical/EPMS Manager will manage the coordination of electrical/EPMS infrastructure requirements with internal stakeholders to support datacenter design development and documentation processes. They will ensure alignment of electrical and EPMS (Electric Power Monitoring System) infrastructure with Microsoft's global datacenter requirements, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors specializing in datacenter architecture to deliver solutions. This role also involves facilitating the development of Microsoft's datacenter design standards, managing design documentation, and overseeing multiple design projects and process improvements. Additionally, the manager will lead a team of individual contributors, overseeing workload management and career growth while driving process standardization across datacenter engineering initiatives.
