Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their Customer Service & Support (CSS) team within the Digital Transformation Platform (DTP) group. This role focuses on delivering world-class support for global customers on their digital transformation journey, specifically in areas like Data analytics, AI, IoT, Business Intelligence, Power BI, SQL, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.

Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer

  • Review and resolve complex technical issues
  • Perform in-depth product troubleshooting and remediation
  • Collaborate on cross-team and cross-product technical issues
  • Assist in implementing end-to-end readiness programs
  • Mentor new Technical Support Engineers
  • Provide feedback for product improvement
  • Participate in case triage meetings
  • Document technical work and research

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer

TypeScript
  • 3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or IT experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT with 1+ year experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and related tools
  • Understanding of SQL Server Analysis Services, MDX, DAX and SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Ability to conduct thorough troubleshooting and debugging
  • Business level fluency in English
  • Availability for shift rotations including on-call and weekend work
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Must meet citizenship verification requirements
