Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer - Azure App Services

  • Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues
  • Act as an advisor to customers, collaborating within and across teams
  • Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Share knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate product defects
  • Help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools

  • Proven experience in technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Experience in writing software in open source programming languages
  • Familiarity with open source web servers (Apache, NGINX, Tomcat, Jetty, etc.)
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Good understanding of source control systems and servers
  • English Language proficiency OR fluency in German, French, Italian
