Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, with over 17,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer specializing in Azure Networking. This role is part of the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex networking issues for Microsoft's cloud infrastructure. The position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of supporting Microsoft's cloud networking technologies, working with enterprise customers to resolve their technical challenges. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer - Azure Networking

  • Own, investigate and solve customer technical issues
  • Collaborate within and across teams using troubleshooting tools and practices
  • Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Develop technical and professional proficiency through training and readiness
  • Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer - Azure Networking

Linux

  • Must have hands on multi years experience in technical support, technical consulting experience, or IT services
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and OSI model
  • Experience with Infrastructure and Network Administration
  • Expertise troubleshooting large Network Environments
  • Familiarity with packet sniffers: Wireshark or Network Monitor, Message Analyzer
  • Knowledge of Private, Hybrid, Public Cloud, Windows/Linux OS, and SDN technologies
  • Understanding of VPN, IPsec, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/s, MPLS, BGP, Layer3, Layer2
  • Hands-on experience with Proxy and Firewall
  • Fluent in English and either Portuguese or Spanish
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
