This role focuses on supporting MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in Azure, requiring expertise in database technologies and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer (Data & AI – Azure Database for MySQL, and PostgreSQL)
- Own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues
- Identify cases that require escalation
- Create and maintain incident management requests
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring
- Drive technical collaboration with Product Engineering teams
- Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles
- Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams
Requirements For Technical Support Engineer (Data & AI – Azure Database for MySQL, and PostgreSQL)
- Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Confident English reading and writing skills with moderate spoken English
- Excellent understanding of Database concepts and deployments
- Experience supporting or maintaining complex mission critical database solutions
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, listening, and written
- Basic Networking, Storage and Platform troubleshooting skills
