Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, with over 17,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their Customer Service & Support (CSS) team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional technical support for Microsoft's enterprise products, particularly SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).

The position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility. As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, working with Microsoft's cutting-edge AI technology to help customers maximize their Microsoft investments.

The role requires strong technical expertise in system administration, particularly with Microsoft technologies including SCCM, WSUS, and Intune. You'll need solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking concepts. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer - SCCM

  • Own, investigate and solve customer technical issues
  • Collaborate within and across teams using troubleshooting tools and practices
  • Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Develop specific technical and professional proficiency through training and readiness
  • Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer - SCCM

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field with 1+ years experience OR 3+ years of technical support experience
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Experience in WSUS, SMS, SCCM 2007, 2012 and Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems Concepts – Active Directory, Security, OS Internals
  • Understanding of Networking concepts – DNS, protocols, Devices
  • IIS Concepts knowledge – Configuration, ISAPI, Architecture, SSL and Kerberos
  • Basic debugging skills and SQL Server Administration concepts
  • Strong experience in Windows 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 server
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
