Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, with over 17,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer for their Digital Transformation Platform (DTP) group. This role focuses on providing world-class support for Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Synapse, SQL, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with global customers on their digital transformation journey, troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise in data engineering and Azure services. Working in a hybrid environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility, you'll collaborate with development teams, create technical documentation, and contribute to product improvements. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineering

  • Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues
  • Act as an advisor to customers and handle complex cases
  • Create technical articles and knowledge base content
  • Perform complex product troubleshooting and remediation
  • Lead communities and share knowledge through readiness programs
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering teams to investigate product defects
  • Provide feedback for product improvements
  • Implement strategic business decisions with customers and partners

Requirements For Technical Support Engineering

Python
  • 5+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or IT experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 3+ years experience
  • Experience with Azure Databricks or certification for Azure Databricks
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate certification preferred
  • Microsoft Technology Certifications preferred
