Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineering

  • Own, investigate and solve customer technical issues
  • Collaborate within and across teams using troubleshooting tools and practices
  • Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Develop technical and professional proficiency through training
  • Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately

Requirements For Technical Support Engineering

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ years of technical support experience
  • OR 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or IT experience
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Knowledge of Azure Architecture - Fundamentals of Fabric, Compute, Storage
  • Understanding of Azure IaaS deployments and administration
  • Familiarity with OS Internals concepts, Active Directory and Security
  • Understanding of Virtualization concepts
  • Familiarity with SAN, NAS, Hyper-V, VMWare, iSCSI
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP, IP, NAT, DNS
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
