This role combines technical expertise in Microsoft's security products with customer-facing support responsibilities. As a security support engineer, you'll be part of an elite team resolving complex issues with Azure Cloud and On-Prem Microsoft security products. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineering

  • Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues
  • Act as an advisor to customers, collaborating within and across teams
  • Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Share knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects
  • Help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools
  • Drive Microsoft product improvements

Requirements For Technical Support Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field
  • 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Experience with security products (advantage): System Centre Endpoint Protection, Azure Antimalware, Windows Defender, Microsoft Defender for EndPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Process-focused aptitude and attention to detail
