Description For Technical Support Engineering - Intune

Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, with over 17,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer for their Customer Service & Support (CSS) team. This role focuses on empowering customers to maximize their Microsoft investment through technical support and problem-solving. The position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility.

As a Technical Support Engineer specializing in Intune, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating across teams, and contributing to product improvement. The role requires expertise in Microsoft technologies, including WSUS, SCCM, and Intune, along with strong understanding of operating systems and networking concepts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of technical support experience, with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin is preferred but not required. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineering - Intune

  • Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues
  • Act as an advisor to customers, collaborating within and across teams
  • Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Share knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects
  • Help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools
  • Drive Microsoft product improvements

Requirements For Technical Support Engineering - Intune

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 3+ years of technical support experience
  • Experience in WSUS, SMS, SCCM 2007, 2012 and Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems Concepts – Active Directory, Security, OS Internals
  • Understanding of Networking concepts – DNS, protocols, Devices
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Mobile device OS, Client, Server knowledge, understanding of Cloud services
  • Preferred: Fluency in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin (both written and spoken)
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
