Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, with over 17,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer specializing in Windows Active Directory. This role is part of the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer technical issues related to Active Directory Services. The position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of Microsoft's mission to empower customers through technical excellence. You'll work with enterprise-level Active Directory implementations, handling complex issues related to Group Policies, FSMO Roles, DNS Zones, and Replications.   • Own, investigate and solve customer technical issues
  • Collaborate within and across teams and leverage troubleshooting tools and practices
  • Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Develop specific technical and professional proficiency
  • Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately

Requirements For Technical Support Engineering - Windows Active Directory

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ years of technical support experience
  • Strong Experience in Active Directory Services
  • Strong Experience in ADS, Group Policies, FSMO Roles, DNS Zones, Replications
  • MCSE certification (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in administering Microsoft® Windows Server
  • Good English Communication Skills - Spoken and Written
  • Strong Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
