Description For Test Engineer

Microsoft is seeking a Test Engineer to join their Silicon Engineering team, focusing on High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence initiatives. The role involves developing tools and flows for manufacturing and testing capability, working with advanced technologies including Cobalt and Maia Custom Silicon for Azure Data Center and AI. The position requires expertise in HPC/AI/GPU/CPU DFT Architecture, test content development, and automation infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in integrated circuits development, with additional experience in product and test engineering. They will work on developing engineering tools, full-stack software solutions, and test applications while collaborating across teams to implement testability requirements.

Responsibilities For Test Engineer

  • Develop engineering tools from testing perspective including test interface, test library, test vector generation
  • Develop full stack end-to-end software web development
  • Develop test software application for product ramp capabilities
  • Work across boundaries with design team to develop testability requirements
  • Develop product development needs from data analysis requirement
  • Adopt industrial standard in manufacturing tools/solutions/capabilities
  • Develop critical tool/Solutions/infrastructure capabilities
  • Manage data storage and analysis capabilities

Requirements For Test Engineer

Linux
  • 3+ years of experience in developing integrated circuits tools, flows, solution and methodology
  • 1+ years of experience in product and test engineering, ATE test program development
  • 1+ years of leading development of test engineering solutions
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good Software design and implementation practices
  • Knowledge in Database implementation
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Understanding of bring-up/debug, characterization/manufacturing test
  • Familiar with probability and statistical background
  • Experience in system/customer requirements gathering
