Responsibilities For Entry-Level Electrical Engineer
- Work under senior staff to perform designs of varying size
- Prepare load analysis for projects at various stages of design
- Prepare construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Design lighting/lighting controls and perform lighting level calculations
- Select equipment and fixtures for building use
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Maintain quality control standards
- Review and disposition shop drawings
- Prepare project documents and reports
- Perform contract administration as required
Requirements For Entry-Level Electrical Engineer
- Four-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 0-2 years of experience
- EIT certificate preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Revit
- Knowledge of AGI32 lighting calculations software
- Knowledge of Revit and other drafting software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Eagerness to learn and dedication to team work
