Description For Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities For Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

  • Work under senior staff to perform designs of varying size
  • Prepare load analysis for projects at various stages of design
  • Prepare construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Design lighting/lighting controls and perform lighting level calculations
  • Select equipment and fixtures for building use
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines
  • Maintain quality control standards
  • Review and disposition shop drawings
  • Prepare project documents and reports
  • Perform contract administration as required

Requirements For Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

  • Four-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • EIT certificate preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Revit
  • Knowledge of AGI32 lighting calculations software
  • Knowledge of Revit and other drafting software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Eagerness to learn and dedication to team work
