Summer 2025 Internship - Civil/Mechanical Engineer

Milhouse Engineering and Construction is seeking a summer intern in Civil or Mechanical Engineering for their Gas Team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for senior or incoming senior-level students pursuing a Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree. The internship offers hands-on experience working on various Gas projects, providing valuable learning and development exposure. The program runs from early June 2025 to mid-August 2025, based in Chicago.

The role involves performing engineering design, preparing project documents using CADD, conducting data analysis, and working on cost estimates. Interns will be immersed in a professional office environment, following Milhouse guidelines for safe practices. Candidates should preferably reside in the Chicago-land area or be able to cover their own housing requirements.

This internship is ideal for students who have completed at least two years at an ABET accredited institution and possess strong organizational and communication skills. The position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $20 to $25, with the actual rate depending on education, experience, and skills.
