Responsibilities For Azure Edge Cloud Engineer
- Design and implement cloud solutions on Azure, focusing on edge computing capabilities
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with Azure services
- Monitor performance and security of cloud infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with governance, security policies, and standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within cloud services
- Create and maintain documentation of cloud architecture and processes
Requirements For Azure Edge Cloud Engineer
- Extensive experience with Azure services and Edge Essentials
- Comprehensive experience of edge computing principles and technologies
- Proficient in using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and ARM templates
- Expertise in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DevOps methodologies
- Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell
- Experience in Kubernetes and Docker
- Proficient in both Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with GitHub Actions and GitOps
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
