Description For .NET/AWS Software Engineer - Remote

Mindex is seeking a skilled .NET/AWS Software Engineer to join their Integration Platform team. This cloud-based service streamlines business operations by connecting various back-office applications like Payroll, HR, Accounting, and CRM. As part of Mindex's broader suite of services, including their K-12 student management system SchoolTool, you'll work on both out-of-the-box and custom integration solutions.

The role requires expertise in C# and .NET Core, with a focus on building RESTful Web Services and event-driven architectures within AWS. You'll be working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with a team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain complex systems. Responsibilities For .NET/AWS Software Engineer - Remote

  • Design, implement, debug and maintain complex systems utilizing .NET Core
  • Develop and design microservices using event-driven architecture within AWS
  • Create and maintain RESTful Web Services
  • Work closely with the scrum master and product owner to understand requirements
  • Collaborate with team using scrum based agile methodology
  • Write technical documentation of system changes
  • Maintain awareness of technological developments

Requirements For .NET/AWS Software Engineer - Remote

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area preferred
  • Three years of software development experience in Microsoft .NET and C#
  • Experience with .NET Core, Web API
  • Experience with Postman, XUnit, profilers, continuous integration, and Git
  • Familiarity with DynamoDb
  • Familiarity with AWS Technologies such as Lambda, SQS and SNS
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
