Description For Sales Engineer

Modern Treasury is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their growing team, focusing on architecting complex payment infrastructure solutions for prospects and customers. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring 4+ years of experience in technical roles. The position offers a competitive compensation package of $148K – $225K, including equity and commission opportunities.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to companies modernizing their payment infrastructure, working at the intersection of technical solution design and business value delivery. Key responsibilities include conducting deep technical discovery, creating detailed solution designs, and delivering compelling demonstrations to executive audiences. The role requires expertise in REST API solution design and strong communication skills.

Modern Treasury's platform serves as the operating system for money movement, providing enterprises with APIs and dashboards to streamline payment operations. The company's end-to-end solution helps businesses unlock new payment revenue, enhance customer experiences, and improve operational efficiency through faster payments and seamless bank integrations.

As a Sales Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with the product team on roadmap planning and product design, while also serving as the technical voice of the customer.
