Protocol Engineer

As a Protocol Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing cutting-edge protocol layer solutions that transform complex biotech intellectual property processes into decentralized, scalable systems. The role demands expertise in blockchain technology, particularly EVM, and extensive experience with Rust and TypeScript/JavaScript. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing automated licensing mechanisms that work seamlessly across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior role at a recognized web3 company. A strong academic background (PhD or Masters in STEM/CS preferred) combined with practical experience in protocol development, smart contracts, and backend systems is essential. You'll work from Berlin or within a 5-hour travel window, collaborating with a dynamic team that's reshaping the future of scientific research.
