At Mollie, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join our commercial team in Amsterdam. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for technical consultation during sales meetings and managing the transition to our Implementation/dedicated support team. You'll guide customers through the sales process of Mollie's products and solutions, showcasing your expertise in SaaS integrations and Mollie features.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Technical Pre-Sales Support: Collaborating with the sales team, conducting product demonstrations, and developing customized solutions.
- Solution Design and Consultation: Gathering technical requirements, designing solutions, and providing advice on best practices.
- Customer Interaction and Relationship Building: Acting as a trusted advisor and participating in customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Working with product development and marketing teams, staying updated on industry trends.
- Post-Sales Support: Assisting in the transition from sales to implementation and providing technical training.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role in a SaaS company
- Strong technical background in software development or IT infrastructure
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with REST APIs and related tools like Postman
- E-commerce and/or POS experience
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Fluency in Dutch and comfort with English
