Description For Sales Engineer Amsterdam

At Mollie, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join our commercial team in Amsterdam. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for technical consultation during sales meetings and managing the transition to our Implementation/dedicated support team. You'll guide customers through the sales process of Mollie's products and solutions, showcasing your expertise in SaaS integrations and Mollie features.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Technical Pre-Sales Support: Collaborating with the sales team, conducting product demonstrations, and developing customized solutions.
  2. Solution Design and Consultation: Gathering technical requirements, designing solutions, and providing advice on best practices.
  3. Customer Interaction and Relationship Building: Acting as a trusted advisor and participating in customer meetings and technical discussions.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Working with product development and marketing teams, staying updated on industry trends.
  5. Post-Sales Support: Assisting in the transition from sales to implementation and providing technical training.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role in a SaaS company
  • Strong technical background in software development or IT infrastructure
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with REST APIs and related tools like Postman
  • E-commerce and/or POS experience
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Fluency in Dutch and comfort with English

Requirements For Sales Engineer Amsterdam

JavaScript
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar role within a SaaS or software company
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, system architecture, or IT infrastructure
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with REST API's and related tools like Postman
  • E-commerce and or POS experience
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events
  • Fluency in Dutch & comfort interacting in English
