Senior Engineer - GTM

Mollie is expanding its Engineering Hub to Milan as part of its journey to become the most loved payment service provider in Europe. As a Senior Engineer for the Lead Creation team in the GTM Optimisation domain, you'll play a crucial role in 10x Lead Gen at Mollie, contributing to the company's ambition to double new business year on year.

You'll be developing cutting-edge, proprietary software tools to find relevant companies & data points on the internet, ensuring Mollie has the most comprehensive database of ideal customer profile leads, enriched by relevant data points and prioritized for targeting based on machine learning scoring.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing Mollie's comprehensive lead generation tool
• Working closely with colleagues to turn ideas into elegant and impactful products
• Connecting Mollie's systems to external APIs for data enrichment
• Occasional frontend problem-solving
• Creating new solutions from the ground up

The ideal candidate will have:

• 6-8 years of experience in developing large-scale web applications
• Strong knowledge of Java (other languages like PHP, Go, and TypeScript are a plus)
• Expertise in Service Oriented Architecture patterns
• Experience with public cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Background in building scalable systems
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
