Senior Software Engineer

Mollie is expanding its Engineering hub in Lisbon as part of its mission to become Europe's most loved financial service provider. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Developer Relations team, you'll play a crucial role in scaling their API ecosystem and enhancing developer tooling for customers. The position offers work on cutting-edge API fundamentals while implementing industry-standard tooling.

The role involves tackling complex scalability challenges, optimizing API performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll be contributing to Mollie's mission of delivering outstanding Merchant Experience for their Payments and Financial Products.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in large-scale web application development, with expertise in PHP (though experience in other languages is welcome). Strong knowledge of modern technologies like RabbitMQ and Redis is essential. The role demands both technical excellence and strong communication skills.
