This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join their Payments domain, where you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining critical payment processing solutions.

As a Software Engineer in the Payments team, you'll be working with Java/PHP to build robust foundations for their payments ecosystem. You'll be part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with product managers, designers, and data analysts to create scalable features that impact millions of users. The role involves designing and developing APIs, services, and systems across Mollie's engineering teams.

The ideal candidate should bring 2-5 years of experience in Java, PHP, or similar object-oriented languages, along with a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns. What makes this opportunity unique is the chance to work on complex, distributed systems in the fintech sector, with exposure to modern technologies and cloud platforms. You'll be contributing to systems that process financial transactions at scale, requiring both technical expertise and attention to detail. The role offers significant growth potential within a rapidly expanding European fintech company.

The position is based in Lisbon, where you'll be part of a growing engineering hub. While the role requires deep technical skills, it also offers the opportunity to work on innovative financial products that are reshaping how businesses handle payments across Europe. Note that relocation support is available for European candidates, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their career in fintech while living in one of Europe's most vibrant cities.
