Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Moloco is a machine learning company operating at massive scale, ingesting 10 petabytes of training data per day and returning predictions in 10 milliseconds or less. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Cloud Infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for owning near-real-time big data processing and providing cloud infrastructure platforms, tooling, and processes that enable the Demand Side Platform (DSP) team to build new features, solutions, and data rapidly at greater scale.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Solving large-scale problems, including optimizing Moloco's annual cloud infrastructure spend of ~$XXXM
• Building and onboarding value-add Cloud Infrastructure Platforms
• Optimizing the Cloud Infrastructure Platform for performance, scalability, availability, and stability
• Optimizing traffic serving and data processing pipelines for latency, cost, and throughput
• Transforming unstructured logs, messages, and events into structured data for analytics and machine learning

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• BS in Computer Science or related fields (MS strongly preferred)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering
• Infrastructure platform and/or cost work experience
• Extensive experience working at scale
• Excellent software development skills, preferably in Java, Go, or Python
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and a bias for action
• Experience with Cloud/Big Data platforms and distributed computing
