Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering - Moloco Commerce Media

Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering for their Commerce Media team. This role will be responsible for developing an ML-based online advertising platform for the rapidly growing retail media industry. The ideal candidate will design and develop complex data pipelines, improve cost effectiveness, implement data quality processes, and enhance system scalability and performance. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others while working on high-impact projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing complex data pipelines and ETL processes
• Improving cost effectiveness of data infrastructure
• Implementing data quality and governance processes
• Enhancing system scalability, availability, and performance
• Developing internal tools to boost productivity
• Collaborating with various teams including Infra, Machine Learning, and Data Science

The ideal candidate should have:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in modern languages (Java, C#, Go, C++, Python) and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong system design and development skills
• Experience in data modeling, analytics, or big data processing
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
